The Overstory provides information on agroforestry, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture free of charge to people in 180 countries. It has been distributed since March 1998 as a service of Agroforestry Net, Inc. (agroforestry.net), with financial support provided through individual donations. Agroforestry Net, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As of March 2009 The Overstory has:
There are several ways to support The Overstory: Donations Agroforestry Net is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your support is needed to help cover internet costs (ISP connection, web site), and computer costs such as e-mail mailing list software. The Overstory Book The Overstory Book, Second Edition is now out-of-print. We are working on a third edition, covering the first eleven years of publication. Your donation (above) will help us produce and publish this new, greatly expanded volume.
